How website and booking information is used

The Mystic Nook collects only the information needed to operate the website, respond to customers, and manage classes or private-event reservations.

Bookings

When you make a booking or join a waitlist, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, attendee or guest count, event details, and notes you choose to provide. This information is used to manage your reservation, communicate with you, and maintain accurate availability.

Payments

When online payments are enabled, payment details are processed by Stripe. The Mystic Nook website does not store your full card number.

Email and reminders

Booking confirmations, updates, and reminders may be sent through our email delivery provider. Automated text messaging is optional and may not be enabled.

Website analytics

We use simple first-party analytics to understand page visits and important website actions. The analytics system is designed not to store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or advertising cookies. A random browser-session identifier may be used to count visits without identifying you personally.

Security and abuse prevention

To protect the booking system and private admin area from automated abuse, the website may use limited request counters based on a one-way, server-salted connection fingerprint. These controls are used only for rate limiting and security and are not used for advertising or customer profiling.
